Epilepsy Awareness Day Richmond – “We all need to Stay Strong!!”

At the Epilepsy Awareness day March, I got the chance to meet & interact with so many others living with epilepsy and also meet the many of those whose siblings or offspring (both toddlers and adults) who have epilepsy.

Witnessing their tears and anguish while also viewing & feeling their distress motivated me to speak out and emphasize; “We all need to Stay Strong!!”

I had the good fortune to interact with the Organizer & Leader; Fernando Cortez, speak with Dr. Stacey Epps, president of the EFVA,  talk with Lowell Evans author of “The Village” and also met up with an old friend whom had recently married and is starting up Support Group meetings in her little town Emporia.

It was so quite empowering to be around so many other individuals enduring the challenges of epilepsy!!  I encourage those of you impacted with/by epilepsy to start attending. It would in strengthen us all even more!!
